In terms of opening and closing my meeting, “He giveth and He taketh away”. Mr. Saxton. Mr. Andrew Saxton (North Vancouver, CPC) : Thank you, Mr. Chair. First of all, I welcome everybody back to our first meeting since the summer. Since we're going to be discussing material of a confidential nature, I'd like to move that we go in camera at this time. The Chair : I'll come right back to you. Does everybody have the agenda in front of them?

I want to make sure we do the second point. I will just say here while we're in public, as we're heading in, that we have to get this resolved. It's so crucial. We can't afford to leave here without getting this piece of it done. Without it, we can't do any of our work. I'm hoping if we get into this, we can at least resolve those issues as well as we can. Point of order? Mr. Guy Caron (Rimouski-Neigette—Témiscouata—Les Basques, NDP) : If I may make a suggestion, there are some things that will have to be dealt with in camera.

Maybe we could actually start dealing with the stuff that doesn't need to be done in camera so we can actually move on that. Then we can move in camera for what is required. We're talking mainly about routine motions. Mr. Andrew Saxton : Mr. Chair, I'd still like to move that we go in camera. I think it's the best way to proceed right now. The Chair : The motion is in order and it's non-debatable. It must be voted on immediately. Therefore, I put the question in front of the committee.
