My apologies for being a few minutes late. Please bear with me for a moment. I'm not sure where everyone has been. I do know that Monsieur Dubé had a death in the family. It was not in his immediate family, but he's had to deal with a few things. He's on his way. Do you mind just giving me a couple more minutes to get up to speed with the clerk, and hopefully our other colleagues will arrive? In any event, in a couple of minutes we'll get going. Is that okay? (0855) The Chair : We can now continue with this 24th meeting of the Standing Committee on Public Accounts. Go ahead, Mr. Saxton. Mr. Andrew Saxton (North Vancouver, CPC) : Thank you, Mr. Chair. Since we are continuing to deal with committee business, and as has been the practice in the past, I move a motion that we go in camera, as is normally what we do. A voice: It's normally what you do. Mr. Andrew Saxton: No, the tradition has been that we always discuss committee business in camera, and this is committee business. The Chair : You're correct, Mr. Saxton. Mr. Andrew Saxton : Thank you, Mr. Chair.

The Chair : There's no debate on the motion. Is there anything out of order? Mr. Byrne, are you rising on a point of order? Hon. Gerry Byrne (Humber—St. Barbe—Baie Verte, Lib.) : No, I would like to call for a recorded vote. The Chair : Oh, of course. You have that right. All right, there will be a roll call. We have the motion. It's in order. I'll ask the clerk to conduct that roll call. (Motion agreed to: yeas 7; nays 4) The Chair: Thank you. The motion carries seven to four.
