Simon Larouche) : Pursuant to Standing Order No. 106(2), the second vice-chair shall be a member of an opposition party other than the official opposition party. [ English ] I'm now prepared to receive a motion for a second vice-chair. [ Translation ] Mr. Yvon Godin (Acadie—Bathurst, NDP) : I nominate Stéphane Dion. Mr. Simon Larouche : It has been moved by Mr. Godin that Stéphane Dion be elected second vice-chair of the committee. Is it the pleasure of the committee to adopt the motion? Some hon. members: Yes.
