I believe we have a quorum Since there's been a change in membership, the committee no longer has a vice-chair representing the Official opposition. Therefore, our first order of business is to elect a vice-chair representing the Official opposition, in accordance with the Standing Orders. I am ready to receive motions to that effect. Hon. Raymond Simard (Saint Boniface, Lib.) : Mr. Chairman, I move that that former Chair of the committee, Mr. Pablo Rodriguez, be elected vice-chair.

The Clerk : Are there any other nominations? If not, I declare Mr. Pablo Rodriguez duly elected first vice-chair of the committee. I invite the Chairman, Mr. Guy Lauzon, to take the chair.
