I can’t think of a better way to start Monday morning than with a meeting of the Selection Committee, so it is great to see everybody here. Le président : Bonjour, honorables sénateurs. This is a public meeting of the Committee of Selection. Before we begin, I want to quickly report back to the committee that the steering committee received an office allocation request last week from Senator Audette. She has requested to move to office suite East Block.

She is currently in Room East Block, which is in close proximity to the East Block construction. The offices in East Block are vacant and have been returned to the pool. As per the further decision taken since the last meeting, the steering committee has approved the request, and I am reporting our decision to the full committee.
