Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Clement, Cormier, Dasko, Dawson, Gagné, Housakos, Klyne, Manning, Miville-Dechêne, Simons, Sorensen and Wallin (12). Other senators present: The Honourable Senator Dalphond (1). Participating in the meeting: Khamla Heminthavong, analyst, Library of Parliament.

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, the committee continued its consideration of Bill C-11,

An Act to amend the Broadcasting Act an d to make related and consequential amendments to other Acts.
