Pursuant to the order of the Senate of November 25, 2021, the Standing Senate Committee on National Finance met this day in room B30, Senate of Canada Building and with videoconference at 2:03 p.m. ET, the chair, the Honourable Percy Mockler, presiding.
Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Boehm, Dagenais, Marshall, Pate, Smith and Yussuff (6).
Members of the committee present by videoconference: The Honourable Senators Duncan, Forest, Gerba, Gignac, Loffreda, Mockler and Richards (7).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, December 2, 2021, the committee continued its examination of the Supplementary Estimates (
B) for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2022.

At 3:19 p.m., the committee suspended.
At 3:24, the Honourable Senator Smith replaced the Honourable Senator Marshall as a member of the committee.
At 3:49 p.m., the committee resumed.
Anick Ouellette, Cheri Crosby and John Daley each made a statement and, together with Stephen Salewicz, Anne David, Miodrag Jovanovic, Lieutenant-General Frances Allen, Joshua Tabah, Andrew Smith, Annie McDermott and Sam Millar, answered questions.
At 5:03 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
