Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, the committee continued i ts consideration of Bill C -21,

An Act to amend certain Acts and to make certain consequential amendments (firearms). WITNESSES: Statistics Canada: Josée Bégin, Assistant Chief Statistician, Social, Health and Labour Statistics; Lucie Léonard, Director, Canadian Centre for Justice and Community Safety Statistics. Fur Institute of Canada: Doug Chiasson, Executive Director. As an individual: Dr. Mark Sinyor, Associate Professor and Psychiatrist, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, University of Toronto (by videoconference). Dr. Mark Sinyor and Josée Bégin each made a statement and , together with Lucie Léonard , answered questions.
