Members of the committee present by videoconference: The Honourable Senators Audette, Batters, Bellemare, Black, Busson, Cordy, Deacon (Ontario), Duncan, Greene, Lankin, P.C., Massicotte, Mockler, Wells and Woo (14).

Pursuant to rule 12-7(2)(a), the committee continued its consideration of possible amendments to the Rules. (Topic: Committee mandates) WITNESS (by videoconference): The Honourable Senator Chantal Petitclerc, former Chair, Standing Senate Committee on Social Affairs, Science and Technology. The Honourable Senator Petitclerc made a statement and answered questions. The committee discussed a draft agenda (future business). At 12:46 p.m., the committee adjourned to the call of the chair.
