Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senator Housakos (1).

Pursuant to rule 12-7(2)(a), the committee considered possible amendments to the Rules. (Topic: Election of the Speaker pro tempore) The Honourable Senator Lankin, P.C. moved that the draft report be adopted. After debate, the question being put on the motion, it was adopted.
