Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Bovey, Cordy, Dasko, Kutcher, Mégie, Omidvar, Patterson, Verner, P.C., and Yussuff (9). Members of the committee present by videoconference : The Honourable Senators McPhedran, Moodie and Poirier (3).

Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, the committee began its examination of the subject matter of those elements contained in Divisions 23, 24, 26, 27, 29 and of Part of Bill C -19,

An Act to implement certain provisions of the budget tabled in Parliament on April 7, 2022 and other measures.
