Members of the committee present: The Honourable Senators Clement, Cormier, Dalphond, Gagné, Mégie, Mockler and Moncion (7). Participating in the meeting: Marie-Ève Hudon, Analyst, Library of Parliament. Pursuant to the order of reference adopted by the Senate on Thursday, February 10, 2022, the committee continued its study of Francophone immigration to minority communities.

New Brunswick Community College: Juan Manuel Toro Lara, Director, Enrolment Management. Sainte-Anne University: Luc Tardif, Director of International Recruitment and Immersion Schools, Recruitment Office. University of Hearst: Samantha Losier, International Office Advisor.

University of Saint-Boniface: Christian Perron, Director, Recruitment and Student Services. Raymond Théberge made a statement and answered questions. At 6:17 p.m., the committee suspended. At 6:20 p.m., the committee resumed. Juan Manuel Toro Lara, Luc Tardif, Samantha Losier and Christian Perron each made a statement and answered questions.
