An Act to amend the Criminal Code in response to the Supreme Court of Canada decision in R. v. Nur (Penalties for the Criminal Possession of Firearms Act), in the House of Commons and it was given first reading. <br/><br/>Bill C-69 amends

section 95 of the Criminal Code to<br/><br/>• establish mandatory minimum punishments of imprisonment for indictable offences under that
