An Act to amend the Copyright Act (access to copyrighted works or other subject-matter for persons with perceptual disabilities), in the House of Commons and it was given first reading. <br/><br/>Bill C-11 amends provisions of the Copyright Act on access for persons with perceptual disabilities to copyrighted materials and, in doing so, implements the Marrakesh Treaty to Facilitate Access to Published Works for Persons Who Are Blind, Visually Impaired, or Otherwise Print Disabled.
