OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health and Wellness and the Minister responsible for Healthcare Redevelopment dated December 2, 2022, and pursuant to

Section 16 of

Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act , and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act, is pleased, effective December 14, 2022, to: (

a) approve the making of a grant by the Minister of Health and Wellness on behalf of the Province to the Nova Scotia Health Authority in the total amount not to exceed $5,000,000 to support program planning and design for transitional care facilities; and (

b) authorize the Nova Scotia Health Authority entering into net debt obligations in a total amount not to exceed $5,000,000 to support program planning and design for transitional care facilities.
