b) the regulations listed in the attached

Schedule 2 are amended as set out in that Schedule.

Schedule 1

Attorney General Act

Section 1 (1) of the Attorney General Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 22, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Crown Counsel Act

2 The definition of “Branch” in sections 1 and 7 (1) of the Crown Counsel Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 87, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Crown Proceeding Act

Section 8 (

a) of the Crown Proceeding Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 89, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Election Act

Section 252 (1.1) of the Election Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 106, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Health Care Costs Recovery Act

Section 22 (

a) of the Health Care Costs Recovery Act, S.B.C. 2008, c. 27, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Local Elections Campaign Financing Act

Section 81 (2) of the Local Elections Campaign Financing Act, S.B.C. 2014, c. 18, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Police Act

Section 4.04 (2) (

b) of the Police Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 367, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General ”.

Section 38.02 (1) is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Public Service Labour Relations Act

9 Paragraph (

u) of the definition of “employee” in

section 1 (1) of the Public Service Labour Relations Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 388, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Victims of Crime Act

Section 12 (2) of the Victims of Crime Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 478, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Schedule 2

Commissioners for Taking Affidavits for British Columbia Regulation

Section 1 (e), (

g) and (

i) of the Commissioners for Taking Affidavits for British Columbia Regulation, B.C. Reg. 142/2015, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Court of Appeal Rules

Section 54.1 (3) (

a) of the Court of Appeal Rules, B.C. Reg. 297/2001, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Criminal Asset Management Regulation

3 The

Schedule to the Criminal Asset Management Regulation, B.C. Reg. 275/2012, is amended in

section 8 A. and C. of the Form by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Emergency Vehicle Driving Regulation

4 Sections 5 (4), 7 (

b) and 8 of the Emergency Vehicle Driving Regulation, B.C. Reg. 133/98, are amended by striking out “ Attorney General ” and substituting “ Solicitor General ”.

Section 8 is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General ”.

Excluded Employees (Legal Proceedings) Indemnity Regulation

Section 1 of the Excluded Employees (Legal Proceedings) Indemnity Regulation, B.C. Reg. 62/2012, is amended in the

definitions of “ADAG” , “administrator” and “Legal Services Branch” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Family Law Act Regulation

Section 2 of the Family Law Act Regulation, B.C. Reg. 347/2012, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

8 Appendix A is amended in Form 1 by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Local Government Grants Regulations

Section 8.1 of the Local Government Grants Regulations, B.C. Reg. 221/95, is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” in both places and substituting “ Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General ”.

Provincial Court (Family) Rules

10 Rule 1 (2) of the Provincial Court (Family) Rules, B.C. Reg. 417/98, is amended in the definition of “regional manager” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

11 Rule 21 (1) is amended in the

definitions of “Certificate of Attendance” and “program” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

12 Rule 22 (3) (

a) is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

13 Form 32 is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Provincial Court Practice Directions Regulation

Section 2 (1) of the Provincial Court Practice Directions Regulation, B.C. Reg. 188/98,

is amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Small Claims Rules

15 Rule 7.2 (1) of the Small Claims Rules, B.C. Reg. 261/93, is amended in paragraph (

b) of the definition of “mediation coordinator” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Supreme Court Civil Rules

16 Rules 4-3 (6) and 23-3 (3) (

a) of the Supreme Court Civil Rules, B.C. Reg. 168/2009, are amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Supreme Court Family Rules

17 Rule 1-1 (1) of the Supreme Court Family Rules, B.C. Reg. 169/2009, is amended in the definition of “regional manager” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

18 Rules 6-3 (3), 7-1 (15) (

f) and 22-4 (3) (

a) are amended by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.

Section 1 of

Schedule 1 of Appendix C is amended in paragraph (

c) of the definition of “qualified mediator” by striking out “ Ministry of Justice ” and substituting “ Ministry of Attorney General ”.
