WESTERN PENTECOSTAL BIBLE COLLEGE

AMENDMENT ACT, 2003

WHEREAS a petition has been presented for the amendment of

An Act to Incorporate

the Western Pentecostal Bible College , and it is expedient to grant the

request in the petition:

HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of the Province of British Columbia, enacts as follows:

1 The title of

An Act to Incorporate the Western Pentecostal Bible

College, S.B.C. 1967, c. 65, is repealed and the following substituted:

SUMMIT PACIFIC COLLEGE ACT .

Section 1 is repealed.

Section 2 is amended by striking out "Western Pentecostal

Bible College" and substituting "Summit Pacific College" .

Section 3 is amended by striking out "the name of "Western

Pentecostal Bible College," have" and substituting "the name of

"Summit Pacific College", have" .

Transitional

5 The change of the name of Western Pentecostal Bible College to Summit Pacific College does not affect any of the College's rights or obligations, or render defective any legal proceedings by or against it, and any legal proceedings that may have been continued or commenced by or against it under its former name may be continued or commenced by or against it under its new name.

Commencement

6 This Act comes into force by regulation of the Lieutenant Governor in Council.
