OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Minister of Finance and Treasury Board dated March 10, 2022, and pursuant to clause 8(1)(a), subsection 10(1) and

Section 12 of

Chapter 301 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Municipal Finance Corporation Act , and subsections 72(1), 73(1) and

Section 77 of

Chapter 2 of the Acts of 2010, the Finance Act , is pleased to approve the borrowing requirements of the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation in the amount of $220,000,000.00 for the fiscal year 2022-2023, as approved by the Nova Scotia Municipal Finance Corporation Board of Directors in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, and to authorize the guarantee by the Province of Nova Scotia in the event long-term borrowings are implemented through lenders other than the Province.
