OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Education dated August 27, 2009, and pursuant to clause 5(1)(
a) of
Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1991, the University Foundations Act, is pleased to, effective October 6, 2009, appoint John MacFarlane of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, and Henry Hicks of Centreville, County of Kings, as members of the Acadia University Foundation, each for a term of office of three years.
