Statute: Fatality Investigations Act Emergency Measures Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated February 25, 2003, is pleased, effective on and after April 4, 2003 , (

a) pursuant to

Section 41 of

Chapter 31 of the Acts of 2001, the Fatality Investigations Act, to make regulations respecting fatality investigations in the form set forth in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) pursuant to

Section 25 of

Chapter 8 of the Acts of 1990, the Emergency Measures Act, to amend clause 4.B.e. of the regulations respecting civil emergency planning made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 71-764 dated August 10, 1971, by striking out "Supervising Coroner" and substituting "Chief Medical Examiner".
