OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated January 9, 2007, and pursuant to Sections 7 and 16 of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Natural Resources on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia to: (

a) subject to the terms and conditions outlined in paragraph (b), convey by deed or grant a lot of Crown land, shown outlined in bold line on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, containing 9.52¦ hectares (23.5¦ acres) situate at Baddeck, in the County of Victoria, to the Municipality of the County of Victoria, its successors or assigns; (

b) in exchange for the Crown land noted in paragraph (a), accept from the Municipality of the County of Victoria, its successors or assigns, a parcel of land shown outlined in bold line on

Schedule "B" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, containing 42.5¦ hectares (105¦ acres) situate at Quarry St. Ann, in the County of Victoria, subject to the condition that the Municipality of the County of Victoria, its successors or assigns, be able to certify title to the land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

c) prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
