The Ombudsman Act is hereby amended. 2.

Section is amended by striking out subsection (1) and by substituting the following: 8.

(1) The Ombudsman shall be paid a salary at the rate of $34,000. a year, effective as of January 1, 1975, which shall be charged to and paid out of the General Revenue Fund. 3. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Expla natory Notes 1. This Bill wiHamend
