B.C. Reg. 131/2018 , deposited June 26, 2018, under the ENERGY, MINES AND PETROLEUM RESOURCES STATUTES AMENDMENT ACT, 2018 [section 31] and the PETROLEUM AND NATURAL GAS ACT [section 133]. Order in Council 327/2018, approved and ordered June 26, 2018.

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that

(

a) the following provisions of the Energy, Mines and Petroleum Resources Statutes Amendment Act, 2018 , S.B.C. 2018, c. 15, are brought into force:

(

i) section 15;

(ii)

section 27;

(iii)

section 28, as it enacts

section 133 (2) (o.1) of the Petroleum and Natural Gas Act , R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 361, and

(

b) the Petroleum and Natural Gas General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 357/98, is amended as set out in the attached Schedule.

1 The Petroleum and Natural Gas General Regulation, B.C. Reg. 357/98, is amended by adding the following section:

Notice of intended disposal

10 A notice under

section 71 (2) [disposal of Crown reserves by public auction or tender] of the Act must be published by posting the notice on a publicly accessible website maintained by or on behalf of the minister.
