Statute: Stora Forest Industries Limited Agreement Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated January 18, 2010, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 446 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Stora Forest Industries Limited Agreement Act, and pursuant to the agreements attached as Schedules to the aforesaid Act, specifically clauses 3(

c) and (

h) of

Section II of

Schedule 2, the Water Agreement and clauses 3(

e) and (

f) of

Part IV of

Schedule 3, the License and Management Agreement and pursuant to the May 3, 2006 Agreement authorized by Order in Council 2006-212 dated May 3, 2006, between Stora Enso Port Hawkesbury Limited and Her Majesty the Queen as represented by the Minister of Natural Resources, is pleased to effective on and after February 9, 2010: (

a) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to consent to the modification by New Page Port Hawkesbury Corp. (the Company) of the Company's mortgage, pledge and charge of its rights under the License and Management Agreement, the Water Agreement and the May 3, 2006 Agreement, which mortgage was consented to by the Minister of Natural Resources by Order in Council 2007-620 dated December 10, 2007; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to signify such consent by signing a Consent and Acknowledgment substantially in the form set out in

Schedule A, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
