OIC Text: The Governor in Council, on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated May 15, 2024, and pursuant to

Section 5 of

Chapter 21 of the Acts of 1990, the Public Prosecutions Act ,

Section 18 of

Chapter 235 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the

Interpretation Act , and

Section 10 of

Chapter 70 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Civil Service Act , is pleased, effective May 23, 2024, to extend the appointment of Eric Ralph Woodburn, K.C. as Acting Director of Public Prosecutions, made by Order in Council 2023-325 dated November 23, 2023, for an 18 month term.
