B.C. Reg. 274/2001, deposited November 29, 2001, pursuant to the WORKERS COMPENSATION ACT [Section 25]. Workers' Compensation Board Regulation, dated November 23, 2001.

Whereas

section 25 of the Workers Compensation Act requires the Board to determine as of January 1, 2002, a ratio by comparing the Consumer Price Index for October 2001 with the Consumer Price Index for April 2001 and by applying that ratio to adjust those periodical payments of compensation referred to in subsection (2), and to adjust each dollar amount mentioned in the Act, except those referred to in subsection (5);

And

whereas the Board is advised that the Consumer Price Index for April 2001 was 116.4 and for October 2001 was 116.8, giving a ratio of 1.00343643;

And

whereas British Columbia Regulation numbered 200/2001 amended dollar amounts described in

Section 25 (4) as of the 24th day of August, 2001 as shown in column 1 below;

The Board hereby determines that the ratio applicable under

section 25 (1) is 1.00343643;

And that all periodical payments of compensation described in

section 25 (2) shall be adjusted by applying that ratio as of the 1st day of January, 2002;

And that the British Columbia Regulation numbered 157/2001 be repealed as of the 1st day of January, 2002;

And that all dollar amounts referred to in all sections of the Act described in

section 25 (4), except those referred to in subsection (5), shall be adjusted by applying that ratio as of the 1st day of January 2002 as follows:
