OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Environment and Labour dated July 14, 2006, pursuant to

Section 68 of

Chapter 7 of the Acts of 1996, the Occupational Health and Safety Act, is pleased to: (

a) reappoint Gerardette Brown of River Ryan, Cape Breton Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing October 1, 2006; (

b) reappoint Thomas Carroll of RR #2 Jeddore, Oyster Pond, Halifax Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing July 24, 2006; (

c) reappoint John K. Kennedy of RR #1 Cleveland, Richmond County, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing July 24, 2006; (

d) reappoint Betty Jean Sutherland of Westville, Pictou County, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Heath and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing July 24, 2006; (

e) reappoint Robert Wells of Lakeview, Halifax Regional Municipality, to the list of persons eligible to be designated as an employee member of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, for a term of three years commencing July 24, 2006; (

f) fix the remuneration of Gerardette Brown, Thomas Carroll, John K. Kennedy, Betty Jean Sutherland and Robert Wells at $150 per day while attending to the business of acting as employee members of an Occupational Health and Safety Appeal Panel, in addition to reasonable expenses incurred in the course of carrying out their duties for an appeal panel.
