OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture dated December 23, 2014, and pursuant to subsections 53(2) and 113(1) of

Chapter 504 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Wildlife Act , is pleased to amend the Fishing Regulations , N.S. Reg. 29/88, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 88-131 dated February 9, 1988, to allow for residents and non-residents to sport fish in Provincial waters on the February statutory holiday and on the Saturday or Sunday immediately preceding the February statutory holiday without having to purchase or possess a general fishing license, and to make certain housekeeping changes, in the manner set forth in

Schedule “A”, attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after January 29, 2015.
