Authority under which Order is made: Act and section: Public Service Act, R.S.B.C. 1996, c. 385, s. 15 Other: OIC 489/2023 O10794043 On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, orders that, effective May 8, 2024, (

a) the appointment of Jada Lee Smith as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Minister of Mental Health and Addictions, made by Order in Council 489/2023, is rescinded, (

b) Jada Lee Smith is appointed as an Administrative Assistant in the Office of the Minister of Post-Secondary Education and Future Skills, (

c) Jada Lee Smith is to be paid as a Clerk beginning at step of the salary range set out in the BCGEU Salary

Schedule administered by the British Columbia Public Service Agency, and (

d) terms and conditions of employmen t equivalent to those established for category B appointees in the Terms and Conditions for Excluded Employees and Appoint ees administered by the British Columbia Public Service Agency apply to the appointment of Jada Lee Smith. 237 May 8, 2024
