Order in Council 1088/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to subsection 4 (1) of the Coroners Act , as amended,

Dr. Armita Rahmani, a legally qualified medical practitioner,

be appointed as Regional Coroner for that part of the East Region of Ontario comprised of the following geographical areas prescribed under the Territorial Division Act, 2002 : Leeds and Grenville, Northumberland, Haliburton, Kawartha Lakes, Peterborough, Frontenac, Hastings, Lennox and Addington, and Prince Edward, to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council effective from the later of September 24, 2025 and the date this Order in Council is made.
