OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Agriculture dated April 26, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 113 of the Revised Statues of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crop and Livestock Insurance Act, and Sections 2 and 3 of the Arbitration Proceedings Regulations N.S. Reg. 71/97 made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 97-371 dated June 10, 1997, is pleased to: (

a) appoint Mark MacDonald of Halifax Regional Municipality (Halifax) as member and designate him as Chair of the Crop and Livestock Insurance Arbitration Board for a term of 3 years commencing April 27, 2017; and (

b) order that Mark MacDonald be remunerated for his service as member and Chair in the amount of $150 per day and be reimbursed for reasonable expenses incurred in fulfilling his duties as member and Chair provided such reimbursements do not exceed those normally paid to members of the civil service.
