OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Justice dated August 8, 2006, and pursuant to

Section 7 of

Chapter 327 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Ombudsman Act, is pleased to: (

a) revoke the appointment of James Stewart, made by Order in Council 2005-143, dated March 31, 2005; and (

b) approve the appointment of Monica MacKinnon, of Halifax, Halifax Regional Municipality, as an assistant and employee of the Ombudsman, and such assistant and employee to be paid at the rate of pay and receive benefits equivalent to the civil service classification for that position, effective on and after August 31, 2006.
