Bellevue Beach Provincial Park Proclamation

under the

Provincial Parks Act

(O.C. 97-263)

Under the authority of

section 4 of the Provincial Parks Act

, the Lieutenant-Governor in Council proclaims the area described in the

Schedule to be a provincial park.

Schedule

All that piece or parcel of land situate and being at Bellevue Beach, near Bellevue, in the Electoral District of Bellevue, abutted and bounded as follows, that is to say:

Beginning at a point in the northerly shoreline of Broad Lake at low water that point being distant 54 metres as measured on a bearing of south 42 07' west from Control Monument No. 83043;

Then running along the easterly limit of the parking lot north 42 07' east 78.00 metres;

Then running along the northerly limit of the parking lot and along the line where the beach meets the cliff in a northwesterly direction to a point on the southwesterly shoreline of Tickle Bay at low water that point being distant 780.00 metres as measured on a bearing of north 33 25' west from the last mentioned point;

Then following the sinuosities of the southwesterly shoreline of Tickle Bay at low water mark in a general southeasterly direction to the easternmost tip of land of Bellevue Beach;

Then following the sinuosities of the northerly shoreline of Broad Lake at low water mark in a general northwesterly direction to the point of beginning and containing an area of 64 hectares, more or less.

Also all that other piece or parcel of land being Coney Isle and containing an area of 6 hectares, more or less.

The above described pieces or parcels of land containing, in all, an area of 70 hectares.

All bearings being magnetic.
