An Act to Amend the Emergency Measures Act Her Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick, enacts as fol- lows: 1

Section of the Emergency Measures Act,

chapter of the Revised Statutes, 2011, is amended by adding the following definition in alphabetical order: “critical infrastructure” means infrastructure of critical importance in time of emergency, as identified and de- scribed by regulation. (infrastructure essentielle) 2 Subsection 6(1) of the Act is amended by adding af- ter paragraph (

a) the following: (a.1) enter into agreements with owners or operators of critical infrastructure, with respect to emergency measures plans; 3

Section of the Act is amended by adding after para- graph (

a) the following: (a.1) review and approve, or require modification to, an emergency measures plan for critical infrastructure; 4

Section of the Act is amended by adding after paragraph (

g) the following: (g.1) the identification and description of critical infrastructure under this Act; PROJET DE LOI Loi modifiant la

Loi sur les mesures d’urgence, cha- pitre des Lois révisées de 2011, est modifié par l’in- sertion, suivant l’ordre alphabétique, de la définition suivante : « infrastructure essentielle »

Infrastructure qui est d’importance cruciale en situation d’urgence et dont la dé- signation et la description sont prévues par règlement. (critical infrastructure) 2 Le paragraphe 6(1) de la Loi est modifié par l’ad- jonction après l’alinéa a) de ce qui suit : a.1) conclure avec les propriétaires ou les exploitants d’infrastructures essentielles un accord portant sur des plans de mesures d’urgence; 3 L’article de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction après l’alinéa a) de ce qui suit : a.1) examiner et approuver un plan de mesures d’ur- gence pour infrastructure essentielle, ou exiger sa mo- dification; 4 L’article de la Loi est modifié par l’adjonction après l’alinéa g) de ce qui suit : g.1) la désignation et la description d’infrastructures essentielles pour l’application de la Loi; 2 Projet de loi Loi modifiant la

Loi sur les mesures d’urgence (g.2) the responsibility of owners and operators of critical infrastructure to have emergency measures plans as approved by the Minister; g.2) la responsabilité qu’ont les propriétaires et les exploitants d’infrastructures essentielles de se doter de plans de mesures d’urgence approuvés par le ministre;
