OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources dated August 12, 1998, pursuant to subsection 7(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to purchase on behalf of Her Majesty the Queen in right of the Province of Nova Scotia, a parcel of land containing approximately 16 acres+, subject to survey, situated at Weeks Lake, Ship Harbour, Halifax County, from Douglas Marks, his heirs, executors, successors or assigns for the purchase price of $4,000.00, such land being more fully shown outlined in red on

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation, subject to the condition that Douglas Marks, his heirs, executors, successors or assigns, be able to certify title to this land in a manner deemed sufficient by the Department of Justice; and (

b) authorize the Minister of Natural Resources to prepare and have executed such documents as may be required to achieve the purpose of this Order.
