OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations dated January 28, 2009, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, and pursuant to clause 59A(

a) and subsections 59C(1), (1A) and (2) of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, is pleased to approve, effective on and after March 17, 2009: (

a) the Minister of Service Nova Scotia and Municipal Relations signing an agreement amending the National Road Safety Agreement on behalf of the Province, substantially in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation; and (

b) the indemnification provisions contained in the amended agreement between the Province and Canada respecting National Road Safety, substantially in the form set out in

Schedule "A" attached to and forming part of the report and recommendation.
