Order in Council 1/2019

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Pursuant to the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario to appoint persons to serve Her Majesty’s Government of Ontario in the discharge of its executive obligations and responsibilities,

Steven Davidson

be appointed Secretary of the Cabinet to serve at the pleasure of the Lieutenant Governor in Council for a period not exceeding six months, effective February 1, 2019;

And , for the duration of the appointment, Steven Davidson:

be paid the base salary provided for in OC 509/2017 dated March 1, 2017, And

pursuant to subsection 9(2) of the Public Service of Ontario Act, 2006, be appointed as a member of the Public Service Commission.

And that Order in Council 508/2017 dated March 31, 2017 be revoked effective February 1, 2019.
