AN ACT TO AMEND THE ALB,ERTA LORD'S DAY ACT (Assented to , 1971) HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Alberta, enacts as follows: 1. The Alberta Lord's Day Act is hereby amended. 2.

Section is struck out and the following is substituted: 5. This Act or a Sunday by-law does not authorize the providing, engaging in or attending at a horse race, dog race or boxing contest. 3. This Act comes into force on the day upon which it is assented to. Explanatory Noies l. This Bill amends
