Order in Council 507/2022

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Order in Council O.C. 711/2021 dated June 3, 2021 established the Ontario Workforce Recovery Advisory Committee (“the Committee”);

And

whereas Order in Council O.C. 506/2022 dated March 4, 2022 re-established the Committee;

Therefore, pursuant to

section 4 of the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities Act and the prerogative of Her Majesty the Queen in right of Ontario:

Each member of the Committee appointed by the Lieutenant Governor in Council shall be remunerated at the rate of $398 per day, up to a maximum of 100 days. For the purposes of determining whether the maximum of 100 days is met, both the period when the Committee was established by Order in Council O.C. 711/2021 dated June 3, 2021 and the period established by Order in Council O.C 506/2022 dated March 4, 2022 shall be counted.

In addition to the remuneration set out above, each member of the Committee shall be reimbursed for work-related expenses incurred in carrying out their duties as a member of the Committee in accordance with the Travel, Meal and Hospitality Expenses Directive and any other TB/MBC directives.
