OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Transportation and Public Works dated March 9, 2005, pursuant to
Section 18 of
Chapter 371 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Highways Act, and
Section 11 of
Chapter 452 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Surplus Crown Property Disposal Act, is pleased to: (
a) extinguish the right of the public to use that portion of the public highway system containing 1.019 hectares, more or less, situate at or near St. Peter's, Richmond County, and more particularly described in Schedules "C" and "E" and shown crosshatched in red on Schedules "D" and "F"which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation; (
b) convey the land containing 2.301 hectares situate at or near St. Peter's, Richmond County, and more particularly described in
Schedule "A" and shown crosshatched in red on
Schedule "B" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation, to the Richmond Housing Corporation for the price of $1.00 and other valuable consideration; (
c) convey a portion of Cabot and Victoria Streets rights-of-way to the Municipality of the County of Richmond and more particularly described in
Schedule "E" and shown crosshatched in red on
Schedule "F" which schedules are attached to and form part of the report and recommendation for the price of $1.00; and (
d) authorize the Minister of Transportation and Public Works to make and execute a Deed of Conveyance in such form as the Minister determines.
