Order in Council 1137/2025

On the recommendation of the undersigned, the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, by and with the advice and concurrence of the Executive Council of Ontario, orders that:

Whereas Paul Brennan was appointed as full-time member and vice-chair of the Social Benefits Tribunal for a fixed term of two years, effective April 18, 2024, by Order in Council O.C. 534/2024;

And

whereas Paul Brennan was reappointed as part-time member of the Assessment Review Board for a fixed term effective April 25, 2024, and ending January 5, 2027, by Order in Council O.C. 545/2024;

And

whereas Paul Brennan tendered his resignation effective March 22, 2025;

Therefore, pursuant to subsection 61(1) of the Ontario Works Act, 1997 , subsection 16(4) of the Adjudicative Tribunals Accountability, Governance and Appointments Act, 2009 and

section 3 of the Assessment Review Board Act , Orders in Council O.C. 534/2024 and O.C. 545/2024 be revoked effective March 22, 2025.
