OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Lands and Forestry dated December 10, 2020, and pursuant to
Section 16 of
Chapter 179 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Forests Act is pleased to approve the Minister of Lands and Forestry entering into a Forest Sector Safe Measures Fund Agreement for small and medium sized businesses in the forestry sector to off-set costs associated with meeting federally and provincially mandated safety requirements in order to maintain and restart forestry operations in the in the form attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation, effective on and after January 12, 2021.
