OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables dated December 29, 2022, and pursuant to clauses 7(

a) and 16(1)(

a) of

Chapter 114 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Crown Lands Act, is pleased to approve the Minister of Natural Resources and Renewables: (

a) amending

Schedule “A” in Order in Council 2018-289 dated November 6, 2018, by extending the dates by which Melford International Terminal Incorporated, and its approved successors or assigns, must start or complete milestones associated with the construction and operation of a deep-water terminal and logistics park at Melford, Guysborough County, as outlined in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of this Report and Recommendation; and (

b) executing such documents as may be necessary to achieve the purposes of this Order.
