Statute: Change of Name Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Service Nova Scotia dated April 9, 2019, and pursuant to

Section 21 of

Chapter 66 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Change of Name Act , is pleased, effective on and after July 9, 2019, to (

a) repeal the regulations respecting change of name, N.S. Reg. 74/1977, made by the Governor in Council by Order in Council 77-942 dated August 2, 1977; and (

b) make new regulations respecting change of name fees in the form set forth in

Schedule “A” attached to and forming part of the Report and Recommendation.
