OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Health dated September 10, 2008, and pursuant to

Section 59C of

Chapter 365 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Provincial Finance Act, and subsection 46(1)(

a) of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act, is pleased to authorize the Minister of Health to: (

i) enter into agreements as set out in Schedules "B" and "C", or a form of agreement to like form and effect, with long term care service providers for the development of long term care facilities and for the provision of care services for a term of twenty-five years in accordance with Request for Proposal RFP#: NUM60131638 and Request for Proposal RFP#: NUM60130972; and (ii) to approve all current related policies regarding administration and costs, with consideration to the effect of Consumer Price Indexing as required, to be effective on and after September 16, 2008.
