WHEREAS York Trust and Savings Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "the company") was incorporated by letters patent dated October 11, 1962, issued under the laws of the Province of Ontario;

AND

WHEREAS the company, by its petition, prayed that it should be authorized to carry on business in Manitoba;

AND

WHEREAS its prayer was granted, and resulted in the enactment of

an Act respecting York Trust and Savings Corporation assented to April 16, 1964;

ATTENDU QUE la « York Trust and Savings Corporation » (ci-après dénommée la « Corporation ») a été constituée par lettres patentes datées du 11 octobre 1962, délivrées en vertu des lois de la province d'Ontario;

ATTENDU QUE la Corporation a demandé l'autorisation d'exercer ses activités au Manitoba;

ATTENDU QUE sa demande a été reçue et qu'il en a résulté l'adoption d'une loi intitulée «

An Act respecting York Trust and Savings Corporation » sanctionnée le 16 avril 1964;

THEREFORE HER MAJESTY, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba, enacts as follows:

Authority to do business continued

1 The authority of York Trust and Savings Corporation to carry on business in the Province of Manitoba is continued.

Prorogation
