North Island-Coast Development Initiative Trust Regions Regulation

Definitions

In this regulation:

Act means the North Island-Coast Development Initiative Trust Act ;

electoral area has the same meaning as in the Local Government Act .

Regions defined

For the purposes of the Act:

Central South Island region means that area of British Columbia comprising the following:

in the Powell River Regional District, electoral area E;

in the Regional District of Nanaimo, electoral areas A, B, C and E, the City of Nanaimo, the City of Parksville and the District of Lantzville;

the Cowichan Valley Regional District;

in the Capital Regional District, the Juan de Fuca Electoral Area, the Saltspring Island Electoral Area and the Southern Gulf Islands Electoral Area;

North Island-Sunshine Coast region means that area of British Columbia comprising the following:

the Regional District of Mount Waddington;

the Regional District of Comox-Strathcona;

the Regional District of Alberni-Clayoquot;

in the Regional District of Nanaimo, electoral areas F, G and H, and the Town of Qualicum Beach;

the Powell River Regional District, except electoral area E;

the Sunshine Coast Regional District.
