OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Communities, Culture and Heritage dated May 5, 2011, and pursuant to
Section 5 of
Chapter 425 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Sherbrooke Restoration Commission Act, is pleased to: (
a) appoint Donald R. Armstrong of Guysborough, Guysborough County, as a member of the Sherbrooke Restoration Commission for a term of three years commencing July 5, 2011; and (
b) order that the Province shall defend, negotiate or settle claims or charges made against Donald R. Armstrong and indemnify him from personal liability in connection with any such claim, provided, however, that the Province is satisfied that the claim arises out of his activities in relation to his appointment, and is not based on fraud or criminal activity, and where the Province so defends him, the Province will be in control of the case.
