OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Attorney General and Minister of Justice dated July 22, 2017, and pursuant to

Section 6 of

Chapter 376 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Public Service Act , is pleased to approve the Attorney General and Minister of Justice entering into a Project Funding Agreement for the period September 1, 2016, to March 31, 2019, with Her Majesty the Queen in right of Canada, as represented by the Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, regarding the establishment of a Family Information Liaison Unit within the Department of Justice, Victim Services, for families of missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls, substantially in the form presented to Executive Council, subject to such modifications as the Attorney General and Minister of Justice determines are necessary.
