Statute: Industrial Development Act

OIC Text: The Governor in Council on the report and recommendation of the Minister of Economic and Rural Development dated March 19, 2009, and pursuant to Order in Council 2005-373 and to Sections 2, 3 and 5 of

Chapter 222 of the Revised Statutes of Nova Scotia, 1989, the Industrial Development Act, is pleased to: (

a) authorize the conveyance of Parcel WDC-4 on Plan No. 2165, Dartmouth, Halifax Regional Municipality, Province of Nova Scotia, further particulars of which are more fully described in the indenture attached as

Schedule "A" to and forming part of the report and recommendation, to the Halifax Regional Municipality for the price of $1.00 or such other consideration approved by the Minister of Economic and Rural Development; (

b) authorize the Minister of Economic and Rural Development and/or the President of Waterfront Development Corporation Limited to execute such indentures, deeds, agreements, documents and instruments as may be required to give effect to this Order; and (

c) further order that the conveyance contemplated herein shall not be subject to the provisions of Order in Council 2005-373.
